Reading Daddy's Magazine

Rowen has just started reading his daddy's magazines. He loves to look at the ATV's, cars, and trucks in them. I took these pictures this morning while we were getting ready to go to daycare for the day. In the last picture, I asked him which one he wanted and he pointed to a 4 wheeler on the page...so cute! Before we walked out the door he grabbed the magazine and put it in his backpack. I guess he wanted to read it later. He's just precious!!

BACKPACK

Rowen is quite attached to his Thomas the Train toys. He now has Thomas, Percy, Stanley and Neville. He also has a train track and a new Thomas the Train, The Great Race Book. He takes them everywhere!! Nana Judy got him a suitcase set for his first Christmas and they included a suitcase, backpack and another small bag. I got the backpack out yesterday and he put all his trains in it...carried it around...played with the trains...put them back in it...carried it around some more...and then fianlly brought it to bed! Yes, we slept with the backpack. Then this morning he wanted to take his backpack to daycare. So, I let him pack it himself. I watched him pack all of his trains and about 10 peices of train track, his Thomas the Train book, a shirt, and some socks. I thought he was running away from home...then I realized that I pack a shirt and extra socks in his diaper bag before daycare so, he must have been mimicing me.

The Baby Swing...

Saturday I got Rowen's baby swing out of the garage and cleaned it up. We were having Tim and Kristie over and thought they may bring little Faith. Rowen decided he wanted to swing in it so I took a few pics of him swinging. I kept telling him " That's a good baby" and he'd smile! It was pretty cute!

Trains, Trains, & More Trains

Rowen LOVES his trains! We bought him a Thomas the Train for Easter and he took it everywhere. He slept with it, ate with it, and tried to take baths with it. So we decided to get him a train track and a few more trains. He plays with them every night, all night. He takes one to daycare everyday and play with it all day at daycare. The first night we put the track together and we played trains for hours. There are about 30 tracks in the set and you can take them apart and put them together to make different shapes. He runs the trains down the track for awhile then takes the tracks apart and puts them back together again. Soooo funny!

Last night I put the tracks back in his room and told him it was time for bed. I put him in our bed with all 3 trains! I turned on his movie and went into the bathroom to wash my face, brush my teeth, etc. I was almost done when I heard him running into the room yelling momma, momma, look, look. He took my hand and told me to "mon", or "come on" in our language. He pulled me out into the livingroom. He had gotten his tracks out again and built a long straight track. He was so proud of it. I once again told him it was time for bed. He ran into the bedroom, jumped into bed, and laid down. It was so cute!! I guess he just wanted to biuld one last track before bed.

Reading the Newspaper at Daycare

Ms. Rita took these pictures of Rowen reading a flyer from the newspaper while he was at daycare. He loves trains, trucks, tractors, helicopters, and cars so it doesn't surprise me that he is looking at lawn mowers and atv's. He is so cute! That's my boy!
