Easter Egg Hunt at Nana's House

Nana and Papa hid Easter eggs for Rowen to find Sunday morning. They were filled with candy, dollar bills and coins. He had sooo much fun! Nana purposely left 5 of them empty to see his reaction when he opened those to find nothing. He learned really quick to shake them first. If they didn't rattle, he went onto the next one. Then he realized that some of the candy didn't rattle so he opened them all. He would give them a shake and give them to Uncle Travis to open for him. When he found an empty one he'd throw it down and say "bad". It was really funny! Uncle Travis had him trained to put the coins and candy on the end table but the dollar bills in Uncle Travis's pocket. He enjoyed it so much that they hid the eggs several times for him to find. He also got a new leapfrog talk/record toy, a motorized boat for the tub, a a gun that shoots foam airplaines, a laser type gun that makes a dozen different sounds, and a few other little toys from Nana and Papa.

We took him to the town East Egg Hunt Saturday morning to see the Easter Bunny's. He got to pick up candy filled eggs and pick out an Easter bucket with the other toddlers. The Easter Buckets had a sand scoop, a book, a chocolate rabbit, candy and a fluffy bunny in them. He really liked that. But most of all he enjoyed playing on the jungle gym with Papa and Uncle Travis.
