Asleep...holding Mommy's hand!

Rowen like his night nurse, Kirk. The girls were super sweet during the day...Ginger was his morning nurse and she left at 3:00. Then came another lady who we didn't see much...now he has Kirk. He was a little scared of the the nurse's aid's, Elizabeth and Alana...Elizabeth wore masks and gloves in the room all the time...the others only did if he was coughing. He lets Kirk take his temp and listen to his chest. He even tells him thank you and waves bye. He is leaving at 7:00 so maybe Ginger will be back. He fell asleep around 11:oo p.m., then woke up at 1:00 to have a breathing treatment. Fell asleep again...woke up at 3:30 for another treatment...awake until almost 6:00 watching cartoons and eating crackers. Fell asleep holding Mommy's hand. Time for Mommy to get another hour of sleep before breakfast comes. I'm starving! BUT...sounds like he needs another treatment again...have to call the Resp. Therapist, Tiffany. He is going to hate me! My poor little love bug.....

After Breathing Treatment #5...REST!

Sweet dreams little buddy...mommy and george are right next to you!!

In the Hospital...Strep Throat & Croup

Rowen was admitted into the hospital at 11:00 this morning. He was up all night with a fever, hoarse voice, cough, and he was breathing as if he were congested. I took him to see Dr. Aston first thing this morning and she gave him a breathing treatment and swabbed his mouth. He has strep throat and croup. She requested that he be admitted into the hospital for more breathing treatments and IV antibiotics. His cough is horrible...it sounds like a seal barking. His fever finally broke at 4:00 today and he finally peed at 6:00 pm. He has had 4 breathing treatments and lots of antibiotics. They are keeping him over night but should let him go home in the morning with a nebulizer. Thank you for all your calls and texts. He is doing really well...just needed a little help to breathe easier.

Rowen With His Daycare Friends

These are a few of Rowen's friends at daycare. (Megan, Brayden, Carter & Nelin)

4th of July and Bouncy Houses

Grandma and I took Rowen to the park on the 4th of July. They had an Independance Day celebration with a car show, bouncy houses, a children's parade, petting zoo, food, and other fun activities for families. Rowen had a blast in the bouncy houses. We didn't stay too long since it was super hot and Grandma was with us but had alot of fun.

Pronoucing Words...In A World Of His Own!

Rowen is so funny! Daddy can't understand him very well at times so Mommy interprets when she can. Rowen went to the garage door and was asking Daddy for his beath baa. He was getting frustrated because Daddy kept saying, "I don't know what you want Bubba". Ransom looked at me in confusion so I asked Rowen what he wanted. He told me "beath baa". I had him repeat it and then told Ransom, "Honey he wants his BEACH BALL". Last night we were laying in bed watching Max & Ruby, one of his new FAVORITE shows. I was saying silly phrases like: Coo Coo Kachoo, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, etc. It was so cute listening to him repeat me. We were all laughing! Sometimes his S's sound like TH's and his R's like W's or D's...and his L's sound like W's most of the time. He says "I wuv you, mom" & "I wuv you, Dad"! When he says Max & Ruby, it sounds like Macth's & Duby. When he want's fuit snacks he asks for "snacths". Too cute! When we get ready for bed at night we say our I LOVE YOU'S...I say "I Love you, Nana" and "I Love, You, Papa" he repeats me, and so on. He pronounces them on his own so Uncle Travis sounds like Unca Trash, Grandma sounds like Gama, Barbie sounds like Bobby, Miss Rita sounds like Meeta, Aunt La La sounds like Alala, Gracie sounds like Bacie...it's too cute. Sunday, Grandma's friend Dixie came by to ask me something and when she was leaving Rowen waved and I said "Tell Dixie Bye", he said "Bye Sisxie". What a mess!
